This is a well-maintained urbanisation which was built in 2001. The Urbanisation is located 9 Kilometres east of Estepona, and approximately 70 kilometres from Malaga airport.

The area has developed and expanded amazingly in the last few years. The Atlas American school, which is newly constructed and popular, is located just 1.3 kilometres from Terraza del Sol and is just one of the new developments in the area. From preschool to high school, the school provides high-quality education.
